Omani driver Al-Rawahi wins fourth round of Jordanian National Rally

Young Omani driver Abdullah Al-Rawahi has claimed victory in the fourth round of the Jordanian National Rally, adding another title to his growing list of achievements in Jordanian rally racing. Al-Rawahi dominated the competition, maintaining the lead from the beginning to the end of the event.

He finished ahead of second-place finisher Bader Al-Fayez and his co-driver Joseph Mattar, and third-place finisher Shaker Juwaihan and his co-driver Mustafa Juma. Driving a Skoda Fabia R5 with his Jordanian co-driver Atta Al-Hamood, Al-Rawahi showcased a strong performance on challenging, semi-desert stages that differed from the usual Dead Sea routes. These speedy yet difficult terrains allowed Al-Rawahi to achieve consistently fast times, building a significant lead over his competitors and securing the national title.

Reflecting on the race, champion Abdullah Al-Rawahi noted that the course presented rough sections and new stages, but they were also fast-paced. "Thank God we were able to win the fourth title of the national rally," he stated. He emphasized the importance of participating in this race as part of his ongoing preparation for future events.

Al-Rawahi specifically mentioned the upcoming International Rally of Lebanon as a key event he is preparing for. He also highlighted the rally's value in helping him get accustomed to his car and identify areas for development. The event served as a crucial step in his preparation and allowed him to fine-tune his performance and his vehicle.

He added that our participation in this race is important for us, as it is to continue preparing for the upcoming events, the first of which is the International Rally of Lebanon, as well as to get used to the car and the possibility of developing it in each participation.
