Oman Concludes Five-Match Test Series Against Pakistan U20 Ahead of Major Continental Championships

Hockey Oman successfully hosted and concluded a five-match international test series between its national men's team and the Pakistan U20 National Team in Muscat. The series served as crucial preparation for both teams ahead of major continental championships.

The Oman National Team is gearing up for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026. Meanwhile, the Pakistan U20 team visited Muscat as part of their preparations for the Men's Junior Asia Cup 2026, scheduled for September in China.

Pakistan U20 emerged victorious in the series, winning three matches. However, the series concluded with two draws, highlighting the steady progress of the Oman National Team. After losing the first three games, the Omani side demonstrated marked improvement in both attack and defense, earning respectable draws against a strong junior opponent.

This gradual improvement across the series reflects the effectiveness of Oman's preparation program, the players' dedication, and the coaching staff's efforts.
