Omani Hajj Mission heads to Madinah to serve pilgrims

The Omani Hajj Mission has proactively deployed a dedicated team to Madinah, underscoring the Sultanate's commitment to ensuring a seamless and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for its citizens. Led by Dr. Zahir bin Abdullah Al-Hosni, the mission's deputy head, this initiative reflects Oman's meticulous planning and dedication to pilgrim welfare.

This year, an estimated 3,000 Omani pilgrims will journey to Madinah to visit the revered Prophet's Mosque before commencing their Hajj rituals in Makkah. The mission's presence in Madinah, extending until the fifth of Dhul-Hijjah, signifies a comprehensive support system. It encompasses vital services including religious guidance, healthcare, and security, ensuring pilgrims are well-cared for throughout their spiritual sojourn.

The involvement of various delegations—Fatwa and Religious Guidance, medical, and Royal Oman Police—highlights a multi-faceted approach to pilgrim support. Furthermore, the Hajj Companies Supervision delegation's role in inspecting accommodations and ensuring contracted services are met demonstrates Oman's rigorous oversight of Hajj operators, aiming to uphold the highest standards for its 14,000 pilgrims, including 440 residents.
