Omani Sultan and UAE President meet in Abu Dhabi to boost ties

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman has made a private fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates, holding a significant meeting with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.

The discussions between the two leaders centered on the deep, historic bilateral relations between Oman and the UAE. They explored avenues for enhancing and developing cooperation across diverse sectors, aiming to serve the mutual interests and aspirations of both nations.

Beyond bilateral ties, the Omani Sultan and the UAE President engaged in a comprehensive exchange of views on a range of regional and international issues. A primary focus of their dialogue was the pursuit of security and stability within the region and globally.

The meeting was attended by a high-level delegation from Oman, including the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and several ministers. The Emirati side included prominent figures such as the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The UAE President personally led the welcoming and farewell ceremonies for Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, underscoring the warm relations between the two countries.
