One Dead and Two Injured in Crash on Córdoba-Rosario Highway

A 67-year-old man died after the utility vehicle he was driving veered off the Córdoba-Rosario highway and overturned near kilometer 621 in Oncativo, Córdoba province.

Police received the alert shortly before 2 p.m. and emergency crews sent two fire brigade units to the scene. Officers found the Peugeot Partner several meters from the highway shoulder, carrying three adults.

Two women, aged 67 and 73, suffered multiple injuries and were taken to San Isidro Municipal Hospital. The driver was transported in critical condition to Oncativo Hospital, where he died on arrival.

The Río Segundo prosecutor's office, led by Patricia Baulies, is handling the investigation. Authorities had not released the victims' identities or determined what caused the vehicle to leave the road and overturn.

The same account also reported a separate fatal crash in Los Cerrillos early Tuesday. A Keller motorcycle collided with a Nissan Frontier, killing a 13-year-old and seriously injuring a 14-year-old. Investigators were working to establish the circumstances of that collision.
