One of Russia's Largest Wildberries Centers Completely Destroyed in Drone Attack

A significant Wildberries logistics center located in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, has been completely destroyed following a drone attack. This facility was described as one of the company's primary logistics hubs in the central part of Russia and had commenced operations in 2025. The center had already experienced a drone attack in July.

Following the latest drone strike, the fire engulfed an area exceeding 100,000 square meters, according to local officials. The governor of Tambov Oblast later confirmed that the Wildberries warehouse was entirely devastated by the blaze. Social media posts indicated the scale of the fire, with one user sharing footage of the burning facility and noting its size at 108,000 square meters.

Russian authorities reported that air defense systems destroyed 13 drones, while mobile fire groups intercepted three additional strike drones. Despite these efforts, three drones managed to hit the warehouse building. The incident highlights ongoing Ukrainian drone activity targeting Russian infrastructure.

In a separate incident, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, after a drone attack. This facility is identified as a LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez plant, one of Russia's largest refineries with a projected annual capacity of approximately 17 million tons of oil. The construction of this refinery reportedly cost $11 billion.
