One Table for the World: MBANK Sponsors “Nomad Cuisine” Festival

In Kyrchyn Gorge, where the Tian Shan mountains descend toward Lake Issyk-Kul, the world has gathered around one dastorkon, the traditional shared table. MBANK has joined the gathering as the general sponsor of the 2026 World Nomad Cuisine festival.

The festival runs from Sept. 1 to 6 at five locations along the lake, including ethnographic villages with traditional bazaars. Organizers describe it as one of the warmest celebrations accompanying the sixth World Nomad Games. Fifteen chefs from 15 countries are working at kazan cauldrons to revive thousand-year-old recipes passed down through nomadic communities.

The scale extends well beyond the cooking. More than 70 restaurants have opened in Kyrchyn, while visitors can find over 150 food zones across the Games’ venues. Organizers expect more than 200,000 guests each day, and admission to the ethnographic village is free.
