OpenAI introduces new ChatGPT updates to improve responses

OpenAI has introduced a series of updates to its ChatGPT chatbot, aiming to enhance user experience and improve the quality of responses. The changes include adjustments to usage limits and the rollout of new tools.

Users will benefit from expanded access to standard text conversations. However, messages that involve file uploads or image generation will continue to be subject to separate usage limits. This distinction aims to manage resource allocation while providing broader access for general use.

The company is also deploying its GPT-4.5 family of models. In typical ChatGPT conversations, GPT-4.5 Instant remains the default for everyday responses. Eligible paid subscribers can now access GPT-4.5 Sol, a model designed for more complex reasoning tasks. GPT-4.5 Luna is not currently selectable in standard ChatGPT conversations.

GPT-4.5 Sol is specifically engineered for intricate work across various domains, including coding, research, science, cybersecurity, computer use, and design. These updates reflect OpenAI's ongoing efforts to refine its AI offerings and cater to a wider range of user needs, from casual interaction to demanding professional tasks.
