South Korea's main opposition party, the People Power Party (PPP), has strongly condemned the military's actions during a recent joint exercise with the U.S. forces, labeling it a "major security disaster." The controversy erupted following reports that the South Korean military mistook a U.S. Marine Corps unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for an "unidentified flying object," prompting an escalation of air defense readiness, code-named "Durumi."
