Orbán criticizes Magyar for 'disinformation' amid crisis

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sharply criticized Peter Magyar, accusing him of spreading false information and obstructing national defense efforts amidst a crisis. Orbán asserted that during such critical times, political disputes must yield to national unity.

Speaking at the Sándor Palace, Orbán delivered a two-hour address that included strong criticism and insults directed at opposition faction leaders and their respective parties. He specifically stated that those who disseminate disinformation, create confusion, hinder defense, or incite panic are failing in their duties as elected officials.

Orbán's remarks imply that Magyar's actions, particularly his alleged accusations against companies owned by Lőrinc Mészáros regarding energy restrictions, are detrimental to the country's stability. The Prime Minister emphasized that spreading misinformation is unacceptable, especially when the nation requires solidarity and focused action to overcome challenges.
