OSE Opens New Job Call with Over $82,000 Salary and Low Requirements

The Administración de las Obras Sanitarias del Estado (OSE), Uruguay's state water and sanitation administration, has announced a new job opening for two consultants. These roles are part of the "program for the universalization of sanitation in Uruguay" and aim to support different management departments within the entity.

OSE is offering a monthly remuneration of $82,067 Uruguayan pesos for a 40-hour work week. The consultants will be tasked with assisting management in areas such as program management with external financing, overseeing administrative tasks, and organizing activities. One consultant will focus on the management of programs funded externally, while the other will support the works management division, specifically in the Agrimensura Division.

Key responsibilities for the selected consultants include providing administrative support to management, controlling documents, and preparing reports. They will also manage communications, organize meeting agendas and logistics, and assist in activity planning and follow-up. Furthermore, consultants will be responsible for managing both physical and electronic archives, tracking files within and outside the organization, and utilizing OSE's document management system.

To be eligible, candidates must have completed secondary or vocational education and possess a minimum of two years of secretarial experience. While not mandatory, tertiary studies in administration or secretarial fields, English language proficiency, and additional relevant courses are preferred. Prior experience in managing projects funded by multilateral credit institutions and familiarity with OSE's systems and document management are also considered advantageous.
