Osh Begins Autumn-Winter Preparations with Major Pipeline Replacement

Preparations for the autumn-winter season are underway in Osh, with city officials prioritizing the replacement of aging heating infrastructure. The municipal enterprise Teploelektrotsentral is central to these efforts, as confirmed by the City Hall's press service.

A significant component of this preparation involves replacing an 825-meter stretch of main heating pipelines on Masaliev Street. The existing 325-millimeter diameter pipes will be upgraded to a larger 530-millimeter diameter, aiming to improve efficiency and reliability.

Deputy Mayor Ernis Toltoev chaired a working meeting to discuss the project's specifics. He instructed relevant municipal services to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of the construction work. Maintaining road safety and temporarily adjusting public transport routes where necessary are also key considerations. Furthermore, authorities have been directed to strictly adhere to construction standards and to provide advance notice to Osh residents about the planned disruptions. The pipeline replacement is slated to begin on July 5.
