Osh Begins Heat Network Reconstruction on Masaliyev Street

Osh, Kyrgyzstan – Reconstruction of heat networks on Masaliyev Street commenced today, according to the city's mayor's office. The project aims to prepare the southern capital for the upcoming autumn-winter heating season by replacing an aging 825-meter section of pipe.

The old pipe, running from heating substation TK-9 to TK-16 before house number 98, will be replaced with a new one featuring a significantly larger diameter. The original pipe measured 325 millimeters, while the new pipe will be 530 millimeters. This upgrade is intended to minimize heat loss.

City officials are reminding residents that temporary road restrictions and inconveniences are possible during the construction period. Trolleybus route No. 1 will be temporarily suspended, while route No. 2 on Kurmanjan Datka Street will resume operation. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to follow traffic signs and seek alternative routes when possible.
