Osimhen still Serie A best finisher since 2020/21

Victor Osimhen, despite having left Napoli two seasons ago, remains the most efficient striker in Serie A since the 2020/21 season. According to Opta data, the Nigerian international scores a goal every 125 minutes, a rate that surpasses other prolific forwards in the league over the last six seasons.

During his four-year tenure with Napoli, Osimhen netted 65 goals in 108 appearances. His most dominant campaign was in 2022/23, where he finished as Serie A's top scorer with 26 goals in 32 league matches, playing a pivotal role in Napoli's first league title in 33 years.

Following a deterioration in his relationship with the Napoli hierarchy, Osimhen moved to Galatasaray on loan in the summer of 2024, making the transfer permanent in 2025 for a reported €75 million. Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez follows Osimhen on the efficiency list, scoring every 133 minutes, with Dusan Vlahovic and Ciro Immobile tied for third at 146 minutes per goal. Romelu Lukaku rounds out the top five, scoring every 163 minutes.
