Osun 2026: Oyebamiji warns against voter harassment

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, assured residents that voter intimidation and harassment would not be tolerated during the August 15 poll.

During his campaign tour in Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency, Oyebamiji urged supporters in Okuku to secure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). He dismissed rumors of potential violence, encouraging participation without fear.

"I am assuring you that no one can intimidate or harass you to prevent you from participating in the poll. Any thug or hoodlum caught harassing people will be severely dealt with by security operatives," Oyebamiji stated. He also advised voters to obtain their PVCs promptly through party officials.

If elected, Oyebamiji pledged an inclusive administration, with a manifesto designed to address the needs of all state sectors. He specifically highlighted plans to boost rural economies through agriculture and provide essential infrastructure, aiming to reduce hunger. He also promised focused attention on health, education, and commerce, signaling a new era of development for the state.
