Osun election: APC, Accord supporters clash at deputy governor’s polling unit

The incident took place at the polling unit designated for the Osun State Deputy Governor and Accord Party's deputy governorship candidate, Prince Kola Adewusi.

The confrontation erupted when the APC's deputy governorship candidate, Benjamin Kayode Adereti, arrived at Adewusi's polling unit. Both deputy governorship candidates hail from Ile-Ife. Adereti had already cast his vote at his own designated polling unit before proceeding to Adewusi's location.

Sources indicate that Adereti's presence was challenged by some Accord Party supporters already present at the unit.
