Osun election: APC leaders hail voter turnout, peaceful conduct

Chieftains of Nigeria's All Progressives Congress (APC) have lauded the significant voter turnout and the peaceful atmosphere during the Osun governorship election. Speaking from various locations including Ilesa, Ibokun, and Ilase-Ijesa, party officials described the participation as impressive.

Former House of Representatives member, Mr. Babatunde Ayeni, cast his vote in Ilesa West Local Government Area and commended the Federal Government for creating an environment conducive to voting. He dismissed allegations of vote-buying, asserting the APC's popularity as the reason for their confidence in winning. Ayeni expressed optimism that the party's governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, would emerge victorious.

Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East Senatorial District, also observed a large turnout after casting his ballot in Ilase-Ijesa, Obokun Local Government Area. He urged more eligible voters to participate in the ongoing exercise, expressing satisfaction with the engagement at his polling unit.

Echoing these sentiments, former state House of Assembly member Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye noted the peaceful conduct and substantial voter turnout after casting his vote. The APC leaders' statements highlight their satisfaction with the election's initial stages, emphasizing voter engagement and the party's perceived strong position.
