Osun election: Davido questions INEC over delay in uploading results

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido has publicly voiced concerns over the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) delay in uploading results for the Osun State governorship election. The singer, closely following the electoral process, took to his X account to question the delay, stating that the situation was "not acceptable."

Davido noted that the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) uploads had been stalled for approximately two hours. He pointed out that while 3,292 out of the expected 3,763 polling unit results had been submitted, the process then fell silent. This represented 87.48 percent of the results being on the platform, but the lack of further progress caused alarm.
