Osun Poll: Adeleke raises alarm over political attacks, asks Tinubu to caution Oyetola

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has raised alarm over what he describes as politically motivated attacks targeting his administration and supporters. He specifically implicated former Governor Gboyega Oyetola in orchestrating these assaults.

Adeleke stated that he personally visited some of the areas affected by the violence. During his visits, he met with victims who were receiving treatment at the Osun State Teaching Hospital in Osogbo and the Cottage Hospital in Ede. These visits underscore the governor's claim that the attacks have resulted in injuries.

In response to the escalating situation, Governor Adeleke has appealed to President Bola Tinubu. He urged the president to intervene and caution Oyetola, emphasizing the need for political stability and an end to the alleged attacks. The governor's appeal highlights his concern for the safety of his constituents and the overall peace within Osun State.
