Osun poll: Oyo APC rallies support for Oyebamiji

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has called on voters in Osun State to back its candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in the forthcoming governorship election. The party issued a statement on Sunday, arguing that Osun needs "quality leadership, effective representation and equitable distribution of resources."

The Oyo APC criticized the current administration in Osun, labeling it as incompetent and wasteful. The party claimed that Osun and Oyo states "fell into the wrong hands in 2022 and 2023 respectively," leading to negative outcomes in key sectors. They specifically attacked the Osun governor, calling him "a mere dance freak" and accusing him of dividing the state, fostering corruption, and lopsided distribution of appointments and resources.
