Osun Polls: Accord Deputy Guber Candidate Cites Uneven INEC Official Arrival, Remains Confident of Victory

Prince Kola Adewusi, the deputy governorship candidate for the Accord Party in Osun State, voiced confidence in his party's impending victory while monitoring the election process. He noted the presence of adequate security personnel ensuring a peaceful election across the state.

However, Adewusi expressed concern over the inconsistent arrival times of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials at various polling units. He stated that while some areas saw early arrivals, others experienced delays, potentially hindering the smooth commencement of voting.

Despite these logistical concerns, Adewusi reiterated his optimism about his party's prospects. He attributed this confidence to the party's extensive groundwork and strong support base throughout Osun State. "We are on the ground. What do you expect me to say? We are winning," he declared, emphasizing his belief that the election outcome would accurately reflect the electorate's will. He also encouraged voters to maintain peace and conduct themselves responsibly during the voting and collation stages.
