ÖSYM Re-releases 2026 MEB-AGS Exam Results After Scoring Error

Turkey's exam authority, ÖSYM, has reissued the results for the 2026 Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Akademi Giriş Sınavı (MEB-AGS) following an error in the initial calculation. The revised scores are now accessible to candidates.

The recalculation became necessary after numerous teachers voiced concerns on social media. They alleged that the scoring of the 2026 MEB-AGS exam had incorrectly applied the weighting criteria from the 2025 exam, rather than the intended 2026 criteria. This discrepancy raised significant questions about the fairness and accuracy of the published results.

ÖSYM acknowledged the issue, confirming that the weighting for the six sub-tests within the 80-question AGS Test had indeed been based on 2025 data. The authority stressed that the total number of correct and incorrect answers recorded for each candidate remained accurate. However, the final scores required adjustment to reflect the correct 2026 weighting system.

The exam center has now completed the updated score calculations for both the 2026 Akademi Giriş Sınavı (2026-AGS) and the 2026 Öğretmenlik Alan Bilgisi Testi (2026-ÖABT). Candidates can access their updated results by entering their Turkish identification numbers and passwords on ÖSYM's official results portal, sonuc.osym.gov.tr.
