Over 100 young musicians to perform at Don Bosco Róga's season-opening concert

The Don Bosco Róga Youth Symphony Orchestra is set to present its first concert of the 2026 season on Monday, June 22. Titled “En clave sinfónica, cambiando vidas” (In a symphonic key, changing lives), the event will take place at 8:00 PM at the Ignacio A. Pane Municipal Theater in Asunción.

Over one hundred children and young people who are part of the musical project will participate in the concert. Organized by the Salesian Social Work Don Bosco Róga, the performance promises a musical journey inspired by the cultural diversity of South America. The program will also incorporate themes related to the World Cup spirit and Paraguayan identity, encouraging the audience to attend wearing their national team's jersey under the slogan “Ponete la camiseta” (Wear the jersey).

The Don Bosco Róga Youth Symphony Orchestra is part of the Symphonic Teaching Nucleus (NES), a socio-educational initiative offering free musical training to children and adolescents. The organization states that the program serves over one hundred participants annually, many from socially vulnerable backgrounds. It provides instruction in musical instruments, music theory, orchestral practice, and community activities.

From the institution, they highlight that the initiative aims to promote social inclusion and the integral development of young people through music-related educational experiences. The concert will showcase the work accomplished throughout the year by students, teachers, and families involved in the educational process.

The event will be held at the Ignacio A. Pane Municipal Theater, located on Presidente Franco street between Chile and Alberdi in downtown Asunción. Doors will open at 7:30 PM, and tickets are priced at G. 50,000.
