Over 13,000 Join MAPPA XXI Year 2026 Run in Putrajaya

Putrajaya's Dataran Putrajaya buzzed with activity as over 13,000 participants and visitors flocked to the MAPPA XXI Year 2026 Run. The event, organized by the Public Service Department (JPA) through the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) and the INTAN Bukit Kiara Sports, Recreation, and Welfare Club (KESKI), marks a significant effort by the government to cultivate a healthy lifestyle.

This year introduced a 21-kilometer category for the first time, alongside the Fun Walk (3km), Fun Run (5km), and Competitive Run (10km). The races offered a total prize pool of RM26,000. The event served as a platform to unite civil servants, private sector employees, and the general public under the "Malaysia Madani" aspiration.

Beyond the races, attendees enjoyed a variety of side activities, including aerobic sessions, a pickleball tournament, free health screenings under the National Agenda for a Healthy Malaysia (ANMS), and a "Rahmah Madani" sale. Participants also had a chance to win lucky draw prizes valued at over RM100,000, including a car, motorcycles, and vacation packages. Forty-two exhibition booths from government agencies, private companies, and sponsors provided services and information.
