Over a Kilogram of Drugs Found Hidden in Washing Machine in Bishkek Bust

Authorities in Bishkek have disrupted a significant drug trafficking network with the arrest of a 22-year-old suspect. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' Drug Control Service intercepted over 7,000 single doses of synthetic drugs, preventing their distribution.

During an operational search, officers detained the suspect, identified as E.N.B., and found approximately 3 grams of hashish on his person. Further investigation led police to a washing machine, where they discovered over a kilogram of a psychotropic substance concealed within the appliance. Preliminary estimates place the black market value of the seized drugs at more than 4.5 million soms.

Investigators believe the detainee was employed by an online store, designated as «K», and played a key role in the drug supply chain. His responsibilities reportedly included receiving, storing, packaging, and distributing narcotics through a network of stashes across Bishkek and the Chui region. The investigation is ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this drug operation.
