Özgür Özel remembers labor leaders Tahir Çetin and Ali Faik İnter

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel remembered Tahir Çetin, the general chairman of the Independent Mine Workers' Union, and labor leader Ali Faik İnter on the fifth anniversary of their deaths. Both men lost their lives in a traffic accident while returning from Ankara, where they had traveled to advocate for the rights of miners.

Özel shared a message on his social media account, stating, "We will continue to protect the legacy left by those who defended the rights of workers and stand by the labor struggle." He paid tribute to Çetin and İnter, who died during their fight to ensure promises made to miners were kept.
