Özgür Özel to Erdoğan: 'We will not let you win this election'

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Özgür Özel has strongly criticized what he termed the "Çankaya operation," alleging a politically motivated investigation targeting the municipality. Speaking in Adana, Özel stated that the operation, initiated early in the morning with a "secret witness," was orchestrated by the Justice Ministry's team, which he claims replaced all deputy chief prosecutors with their own allies.

Özel reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the party's struggle, stating, "Be sure of this; I will never give up this fight for power." He emphasized that their primary battle is to reclaim the party through legal means. "But those who try to prolong the process, pressure the judiciary, and conduct operations to quell this excitement, this anger, this fighting spirit, should know this: You cannot stop us, intimidate us, or extinguish us! No one can stand in the flood of people's enthusiasm! We will either find a way or make a way!"
