Pakistan School Muscat celebrates 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervor

Pakistan School Muscat vibrantly marked Pakistan's 80th Independence Day, fostering a spirit of patriotism among students, parents, and members of the Pakistani community in Oman. The event served as a significant gathering, reinforcing national pride and connection.

Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Pakistan's Ambassador to Oman, attended as the Chief Guest. He addressed the attendees, emphasizing the profound importance of independence and underscoring Pakistan's contributions to regional and international peace. The Ambassador also paid tribute to the nation's founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, its leadership, armed forces, martyrs, and its people for their enduring services and sacrifices.

The ceremony concluded with a traditional cake-cutting and an energetic rendition of the beloved national song, “Dil Dil Pakistan,” leaving attendees with a sense of shared heritage and national pride.
