Palace Responds to Search of National Nutrition Agency Office After Leadership Shake-up

State Secretary Prasetio Hadi has addressed the recent search of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) headquarters by investigators from the Attorney General's Office. Hadi urged the public to allow law enforcement agencies to carry out their tasks without interference and to wait for the official outcomes of the investigation.

"Of course, first and foremost, let us give the law enforcement apparatus the opportunity to carry out its duties, and then we will jointly see and await the results," Hadi stated via a short message on Wednesday. He framed the ongoing legal proceedings as a necessary process and a demonstration of the government's commitment to enhancing governance and management practices across all sectors.

Hadi also reminded all government ministries and institutions of the importance of adhering to established norms and regulations. The search at the BGN headquarters began early Wednesday morning and was ongoing into the afternoon. This action follows the recent dismissal of BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, along with two Deputy Heads, Lodewyk Pusung and Sonny Sonjaya, by President Prabowo Subianto.

When questioned about a potential link between the leadership changes and alleged practices of selling Nutrition Service Units (SPPG), Hadi indicated that these matters are currently undergoing internal audits. He assured that these audits are part of the government's continuous monitoring and evaluation processes, emphasizing a commitment to transparency and accountability within the administration.
