Palestinian Children Send Letter to President Lee, Moved by Solidarity

We are deeply moved by President Lee Jae-myung's courageous stance in solidarity with the children of Palestine. His message, which bravely calls out the inhumane war crimes being perpetrated, has reached us survivors in Gaza and offered a profound sense of dignity, humanity, and hope.

The public stance supporting children in Gaza deeply moved us. (President Lee's stance) was a message of solidarity that restored our sense of dignity, humanity, and hope.

As a 15-year-old who lost 16 family members to the violence, I find President Lee's words to be a vital message of solidarity. It is crucial that the world listens to the voices of children affected by such tragedies to prevent their recurrence. We implore President Lee to continue advocating for the protection of children's rights in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Listening to the voices of children is an important step in strengthening efforts to prevent the recurrence of tragedy.

We also wish to convey directly to President Lee the harsh realities faced by children in Gaza. Furthermore, we appeal for meaningful action on the international stage to support the right of return for millions of displaced Palestinians and to end the suffering and human rights violations endured by Palestinian prisoners. We look forward to President Lee's continued role in upholding human values and justice.
