Panama completes repatriation of five citizens with embassy support in Russia

Panama's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on August 7 that the repatriation process for five Panamanian citizens in Russia has concluded. These individuals had been under the protection and assistance of the Panamanian Embassy in Moscow.

With their arrival, the return of the five Panamanians who remained under the assistance of the Panamanian diplomatic mission in Russia is complete.

The final four citizens were scheduled to arrive back in Panama on a Turkish Airlines flight that evening, landing at Tocumen International Airport. The repatriation effort began earlier, with the first citizen, Adrián Gabriel González, returning on August 5.

The last four Panamanians will return to the country on a Turkish Airlines flight, scheduled to arrive at Tocumen International Airport at 7:25 p.m.

The ministry specifically acknowledged the crucial work of Panama's Ambassador to Russia, Carmen Ávila, and her diplomatic team. Their efforts were instrumental in facilitating the safe return of the citizens.
