Chiriquí, Panama – More than 200 patients benefited from a special weekend of colonoscopies and endoscopies at the Dr. Rafael Hernández Regional Hospital. The event, organized by the Social Security Fund (CSS), aims to clear a backlog of specialized procedures and improve patient care.

Doctors emphasize that these procedures help identify conditions such as esophageal varices, unexplained anemia, weight loss, digestive bleeding, intestinal polyps, and colon cancer.
