Panama police seek six alleged members of 'Mafia Filipina' gang

Panama's National Police are conducting extensive operations to locate and apprehend six individuals suspected of being members of the criminal organization known as "Mafia Filipina." These efforts are part of a broader strategy by authorities to combat organized crime and dismantle groups involved in various illicit activities.

The six wanted individuals have been identified as Jahir Aldahir Serrano Yau, Amir Jonatham Briggs, Reynaldo David Max Miranda Hernández, Abdiel Antonio Sandoya Franco, Isaac Antonio Córdoba Camarera, and Elvis Aníbal Montes Muñoz. They are being sought for alleged offenses related to collective security, specifically for their purported involvement in gang-related activities.

As part of the ongoing investigations, three of the individuals sought have voluntarily surrendered to the authorities. Additionally, two of the wanted persons are subject to Interpol red notices, which are international requests to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest an individual pending extradition, trial, or other legal proceedings.

The National Police have also requested the public's assistance in providing any information that could help locate the remaining fugitives. They have assured that all information supplied will be treated with strict confidentiality. This appeal for public cooperation highlights the ongoing challenges in dismantling sophisticated criminal networks within the country.
