Panama's IMA Announces Agroferia Locations for Tuesday, July 21

Panama's Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) continues its "agroferias" initiative, providing the public access to essential food items at affordable prices. This Tuesday, July 21, the markets are scheduled to take place in several locations across the country, offering a range of staple goods.

Residents can expect to find products like rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meats, apples, and assorted fruits. The agroferias aim to ease the financial burden on households by making these necessities more accessible.

The markets will open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Specific locations include Jardín Palma Real in Santa Rosa, Capira (Panamá Oeste); La Placita de Monjarás in Calobre and the covered court of El Higo in La Mesa (Veraguas); and the communities of Burari and Cerro Otoe in Kankintú (Comarca Ngäbe Buglé).

Additional sites are set for Parque de Las Margaritas in Chepo (Panamá Este); Casa Local de Guayabo in Tulú, Penonomé (Coclé); Plaza 3 de noviembre in La Arena, Chitré (Herrera); Beras Plaza in Sabanitas, Colón (Colón); and the gymnasium in Los Naranjos, Boquete (Chiriquí).
