Panama's IMA Announces Agroferia Schedule for Thursday

The Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) in Panama continues its "agroferias" to provide basic food products to the population at low prices. For Thursday, August 13, the entity announced new dates and locations for these markets.

Shoppers can find essential items such as rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meats, apples, and various fruits at reduced costs. The agroferias are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. in several locations across different provinces.

In Coclé, the event will be held at Plaza Mayor Santiago Apóstol in Nata. Veraguas will host agroferias at the Community House of El Picador in Cañazas and the Community House of San Juan in San Francisco. Panama Oeste will see the event at the Local Board of Chorrito 3 in La Chorrera. Chiriquí's location is the Llano del Medio court in David. In Panama, the Casa Cultural de Amelia Denis de Icaza in San Miguelito will host the event. Herrera's agroferia will take place at the Community House of Cerro Largo in Ocú. Los Santos will have its event at the Ave Maria court in Tonosi. Panama Este's location is the La Primavera court in Chepo. The Ngäbe Buglé Comarca will host an agroferia at the Los Guarumos School in Nurum, and Darién's will be at the El Real de Santa Maria School in Pinogana.
