Panama's IMA Announces Agroferia Schedule for Wednesday

The Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) continues its "agroferias" across Panama, offering basic food products at low prices. For Wednesday, August 26, the IMA announced new locations and dates for these events.

Shoppers can find essential items such as rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meats, apples, and various fruits at reduced costs. The agroferias are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. in several locations.

In Veraguas, events will be held next to the Chapel of San Martín de Porres in Las Palmas district and at the Community Hall of Cañazas Abajo in La Raya de Santa María, Santiago district. Panama Oeste will host an event at the Bique Court in Cerro Silvestre, Arraiján district. Herrera's event is at the Community Hall of París in Parita district.

Chiriquí's agroferia will take place at the Infoplaza of Bocalatún in Guayabal, Boquerón district. In Colón, the event is at Plaza Bomba Market in Nueva Providencia. Panama Este will have its agroferia at the Tortí Fairgrounds in Chepo district. Finally, Los Santos will host an event at the Pedasí Park in Pedasí district.
