Panathinaikos without Mitoglou for Game 3 of Greek Basketball League Finals; Hernangómez to start

The stage is set for the decisive third game of the Stoiximan GBL finals between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, with the best-of-three series currently deadlocked at 1-1. The crucial match is scheduled for Monday evening.

Panathinaikos, however, is grappling with a significant last-minute setback. Forward Dinos Mitoglou will be unavailable for the pivotal game after experiencing back discomfort towards the end of the second final. Despite efforts to recover, he has been ruled out for this critical encounter.

Stepping in for Mitoglou is Juancho Hernangómez, who returns to the team's available roster for the third final. Panathinaikos will field six foreign players in total, including TJ Shorts, Kendrick Nunn, Jerian Grant, Nigel Hayes-Davis, and Mathias Lessort.

Kostas Sloukas is traveling with the team to the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) along with his teammates. However, his participation in the game remains uncertain. While he is included in the squad, recent information suggests he is unlikely to play significant minutes, having not completed a full practice in approximately 10 days, even if he is listed among the 12 players.
