PAOK officially announces signing of Ogjen Ugresic

Greek football club PAOK has officially confirmed the acquisition of Serbian midfielder Ogjen Ugresic from Partizan Belgrade. The 20-year-old talent has committed his future to PAOK, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031.

Ugresic, born in July 2006 and standing at 1.88 meters tall, is a product of Partizan's renowned academy. He captained the Belgrade team and has represented Serbia at multiple youth international levels, including U16, U17, U18, U19, and U21 squads. His progression culminated in a senior national team debut in October 2025 during a 3-1 victory against Andorra.

His professional career began with Partizan, where he made his senior debut on December 8, 2024, and scored his first goal on April 27, 2025. Ugresic gained further European experience in July 2025, scoring in Partizan's UEFA Europa League qualifying match against AEK Larnaca, though the team was later eliminated on penalties.

The transfer marks a significant move for the young Serbian midfielder, who is expected to bolster PAOK's midfield options. His arrival in Thessaloniki on Friday, August 29, was followed by the necessary medical and ergometric examinations before the official announcement on Saturday.
