Paraguay faces continued rain and thunderstorms, with a slight change expected by Saturday

Paraguay is bracing for continued rainfall and thunderstorms across much of the country, with the wet weather expected to persist through Friday. The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts a cool day on Thursday, characterized by mostly cloudy skies and variable winds, alongside scattered showers and occasional electrical storms.

These precipitation patterns are anticipated to continue into Friday, although the intensity of thunderstorms may lessen and become limited to the eastern parts of the country. A change in weather conditions is expected by Saturday, with a return to more normalized patterns across most of Paraguay, including the capital, Asunción. However, the Chaco region and the northern areas of the Oriental Region might still experience some lingering rain and storms.

The accompanying temperatures are expected to remain mild. In Asunción, maximum temperatures are forecast to reach around 20 degrees Celsius. Other cities like Ciudad del Este and Encarnación will see highs of 21 and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively, while the Chaco region could experience warmer temperatures up to 26 degrees Celsius. No significant temperature shifts are predicted for the coming days.
