Paraguay Names Show Jumping Team for South American Championship in Chile

Paraguay is set to compete in the FEI South America Jumping Championship, scheduled for October in Chile. The Paraguayan Equestrian Sports Federation (Fedepa) has finalized its list of qualified athletes who will represent the nation at the regional event.

The championship will be held at the Santiago Paperchase Club in Chile's capital, organized by the Chilean Equestrian Federation. The Paraguayan delegation comprises riders who have met the necessary standards through recent competitions, including the CSI - Ranking Asunción held at the Club Hípico Paraguayo (CHP).

The team features a range of talent across different age and skill categories. In the U25 - 1.45 meters division, María Belén Giménez will compete with her horse Ranger Z. The Pre-Júnior 1.30 meters category includes Mónica María Vargas (Espartano), Juan Ignacio Pena (Llanura), and Agostina Sánchez (Anchito Z).

For the Children 1.20 meters category, Juan Ignacio Pena will ride Marianita Sly and Llanura, accompanied by Mauricio José Brizuela (Zeus B), Estefanía Pena (Alma), and Giovanna Santi (Cataleya). The CSI 1.10 meters category will see Cecilia Burali (Jumping For Joy), Giovanna Santi (Arya Stark, Aborigen, and Cataleya), Flavia Canillas (Emirates), Agustín Chamorro (León), Ainhara Leticia Amado (Quinessa Omatikaya Verd), and Thais Isabella Chamorro (Cl Invicta) competing.
