Paraguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance announces June payment schedule for salaries and benefits

Paraguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has released the official calendar for salary and social benefit payments for June.

The disbursement of funds is set to commence on Tuesday, June 23. The initial payments will be made to veterans, pensioners, and beneficiaries enrolled in the Elderly Adults Program, according to the schedule established by the economic ministry. The PGN 2026 budget aims to support 370,000 elderly adults, covering over 80% of eligible individuals. These beneficiaries receive a monthly payment of G. 724,762, which is equivalent to 25% of the minimum wage as of June.

Following the initial payments, the schedule continues on Wednesday, June 24, with disbursements for retirees from the Fiscal Fund. On Thursday, June 25, salaries will be credited to administrative staff and personnel from the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare.

The MEF's payment plan will proceed on Friday, June 26, with funds allocated to the Public Forces, the Judiciary, and Gobernaciones. The schedule resumes on Monday, June 29, for public servants of the Ministry of Education and National Universities. Finally, pending personal services payments will be processed on Monday, June 30.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance also reminded all state organisms and entities (OEE) that payments are contingent upon the timely submission of Resource Transfer Requests (STR).
