Paraguay weather: Cool and rainy start to the week predicted

Paraguay is bracing for a cool and rainy start to the week, according to the Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology. After a period of stable weather over the weekend, scattered showers are anticipated across most of the country on Monday, including the capital, Asunción.

The forecast indicates a cold to cool day with mostly cloudy skies and southeastern winds. These precipitations are expected to continue into Tuesday, though they will likely be concentrated in the northern and eastern parts of Paraguay.

Temperatures are expected to remain low throughout Monday. Asunción recorded 13 degrees Celsius before dawn, with expected maximums of 22 degrees. Other cities will see highs ranging from 19 degrees in Encarnación to 23 degrees in Ciudad del Este, and up to 29 degrees in the Chaco region. The southern part of the country could experience minimum temperatures as low as 9 degrees Celsius.

Similar temperature ranges are predicted for Tuesday. However, meteorologists anticipate a gradual increase in temperatures as the week progresses towards its end.
