Paraguay Weather: Rainy Wednesday with Falling Temperatures

Paraguay is bracing for a cooler and wetter Wednesday, marking a shift from the week's earlier heat. The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts a fresh day with mostly cloudy skies and winds from the south, bringing scattered showers across most of the nation, including the capital, Asunción.

These unstable weather conditions are expected to persist into Thursday, with a high probability of additional rainfall and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms throughout much of the country. However, the weather is anticipated to normalize by Friday, with precipitation chances significantly decreasing.

Temperatures are on a downward trend. Wednesday's highs are projected to reach 18 degrees Celsius in Asunción and Encarnación, 24 degrees in Ciudad del Este, and up to 22 degrees in the Chaco region. Minimum temperatures nationwide are expected to range between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead, minimum temperatures are forecast to continue their descent in the coming days. By Thursday, the capital could see lows of 12 degrees Celsius, with a further drop to 9 degrees Celsius expected by Friday.
