Paraguayan Racers Torrez and Cuevas to Compete in Argentina and Brazil

Two young Paraguayan motorcycle racers, Nico Torrez and Oli Cuevas, are set to compete in international events this weekend, representing the Superbike Paraguay team. Torrez will race in Argentina, while Cuevas will compete in Brazil, showcasing the growing talent in Paraguayan motorsports.

Seventeen-year-old Nico Torrez is heading to San Nicolás, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to participate in the Moto4 Latin Cup. This event is a crucial stepping stone for aspiring MotoGP riders. Torrez aims to solidify his position in the championship after achieving a valuable Top 10 finish in the previous round at Interlagos, Brazil. The Moto4 Latin Cup will share the circuit with other categories, including GP3 Cup and SBK subdivisions.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Oli Cuevas will compete in the third round of the Trofeo Ohvale Moto Mini at the Registro circuit in São Paulo, Brazil. Cuevas is looking to secure another victory after a dominant performance in the previous round in Limeira, São Paulo, where he secured pole position and won Race 1 despite challenging weather conditions.

Both riders have undergone technical inspections and practice sessions, preparing for the main races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Their participation highlights Paraguay's presence in regional motorsport competitions.
