Participants of Caravan of Unity arrive in Bishkek

The Birimdik Kerbeni (Caravan of Unity) project has brought participants to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for a symbolic water-honoring ceremony. This initiative is a key part of the preparations for the upcoming World Nomad Games.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed in the central Ala-Too Square. A significant symbol of the project, a 'kookor' or symbolic vessel of water, was presented. This vessel will be housed at an ABank branch in the Asanbai microdistrict until the World Nomad Games commence, allowing the public to view and photograph it.

A concert featuring local performers was organized as part of the welcoming ceremony, offering entertainment for residents and visitors. The Caravan of Unity project spans all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Its core idea is to collect water from sacred springs throughout the country, combining it into a single symbol. This unified water is intended to represent unity, harmony, friendship, and the spiritual connection of the people of Kyrgyzstan. The procession began on July 25 and is scheduled to conclude on September 2, involving over 400 participants. The final destination for the caravan after leaving Bishkek has not yet been specified.
