Paskibraka Team Receives Enthusiastic Applause at 81st Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony

A vibrant ceremony marked Indonesia's 81st Independence Day at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, culminating in the ceremonial raising of the national flag, the Merah Putih. The Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka (Paskibraka) team, named 'Indonesia Berdaulat,' earned a resounding ovation from attendees for their precise execution of this solemn duty.

As the Paskibraka members marched off the field after hoisting the flag, they were met with enthusiastic applause. The moment was accompanied by the release of white doves, adding a symbolic touch to the proceedings. Inspector of the ceremony was Prabowo, with the flag-raising itself led by Dandim 0733/Kota Semarang Kolonel Inf Priyo Handoyo.

Celina Olivia Apriani Theo, a student from West Kalimantan, had the honor of being the flag bearer, carrying the Merah Putih. She was supported by a dedicated team, including Eighteen Jeanette Hekboy from East Nusa Tenggara as the backup flag carrier. Other key roles included Achmad Fachri Mubarok from Jambi as Commander of Group 8, and I Nyoman Harya Dhanurendra Darmamukti from South Kalimantan as the flag raiser.

M. Aryo Wira Zandhyka Y from Bengkulu served as the flag unfurler. The ceremony also featured Ahmad Raditya from Yogyakarta as Commander of Group 17, and Kapten Mar Rachmatsah Adi Putera as the Paskibraka Company Commander. The Independence Day celebrations in Jakarta included various other events, such as a People's Party at Monas and a Freedom Carnival.
