Passenger and freight trains collide near Bjelovar; multiple injuries reported, traffic halted

Multiple individuals sustained injuries in a collision between a passenger train and a freight train near Bjelovar, Croatia, on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 10:05 a.m. on the railway line connecting the stations of Sveti Ivan Žabno and Gradec.

According to initial reports from Jutarnji list, the crash involved a freight train operated by HŽ Cargo and a passenger train from HŽ Putnički prevoz.
