Patek Philippe is celebrating its iconic Calatrava collection with a special exhibition in Taiwan, featuring 11 timepieces that span decades and highlight the brand's mastery of both aesthetics and complex watchmaking.

The Calatrava series, established in 1932 and influenced by Bauhaus principles, is renowned for its minimalist design and round cases, setting a standard for classic dress watches. Patek Philippe continues to evolve the collection, introducing diverse models that demonstrate the brand's ability to balance technical innovation with artistic appeal.

Among the new offerings are the 6196P, crafted in platinum with a salmon dial, and the 6119R, which revives classic proportions with a hobnail bezel and a new 30-255 PS manual-winding movement. The 5226G draws inspiration from 1930s military field watches, featuring a grained dial and luminescent numerals for a more casual yet sophisticated look. For women, the new 7200/50G features a white gold case and an ultra-thin automatic movement, embodying feminine elegance.

Beyond classic time-only displays, Patek Philippe emphasizes its expertise in high complications. The exhibition includes the 5236P perpetual calendar, notable for its innovative linear display of the day, date, and month, and the 6159G perpetual calendar, which showcases its intricate mechanism through a transparent sapphire dial. The 5396R annual calendar, with its patented mechanism, offers convenience for daily wear by requiring adjustment only once a year, at the end of February.
