Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas Clash in John Carney's New Musical Film

Renowned music film director John Carney, celebrated for works like "Once" and "Begin Again," is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest offering, "The Lost Song." This new musical drama pits "Ant-Man" star Paul Rudd against Nick Jonas, formerly of the Jonas Brothers, in a narrative woven with ambition, betrayal, and a uniquely nuanced "bromance."

The film's unconventional storyline follows Rick Slayes, a wedding band singer portrayed by Rudd, who unexpectedly connects with Danny, an ex-boy band idol played by Jonas. Initially sharing a mutual respect for each other's musical talents, their relationship takes a sharp turn when Danny repackages and releases a heartfelt ballad written by Rick. The song becomes a chart-topping hit, propelling Danny to stardom while leaving Rick to confront the injustice of his stolen work and the fight for his creative dignity.
