PBNU invites President Prabowo to NU National Conference closing

President Prabowo Subianto is expected to attend the closing ceremony of the 2026 National Conference and Congress of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The event is scheduled to take place at STAI Syaichona Moh. Cholil in Bangkalan, East Java.

Saifullah Yusuf, the chairman of the organizing committee, conducted a site inspection on Friday, June 19. He reviewed various areas, including the main venue, guest reception tents, and pathways for participants and security personnel. Yusuf, who also serves as the General Secretary of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), emphasized the need for thorough preparation.

Discussions were held with local officials, including the Regent of Bangkalan, the Bangkalan Police Chief, and religious leaders. These meetings focused on coordinating the reception of President Prabowo, managing VIP and VVIP guests, participant arrangements, security, and overall facility readiness. The goal is to ensure all aspects of the event are well-organized and secure.
